Old Hoffritz Barrel New Knot - Perfect

I was fortunate enough to find a sweet Hoffritz Butterscotch Barrel in great shape but in need of a new knot. Of course I got in touch with my “go to restore guy”
GD Carrington and soon we came up what we think is a great handle knot combo.

Barrel handles were very popular in the past, Semogue also had brushes made with this beautiful shape. Great job, Sir!

This one has a nice "root beer" coloration that looks better in person than in the pictures.

Nice restore. I sold one of these brushes on BST a few months back because the knot (two band, hair was a bit worn on outside) was just good enough that I couldn't bring myself to reknot it. The old barrel handles are awesome though. I had this (A simpson rebadge btw) and a Kent barrel, kept the kent (best pure badger knot I've ever used), and sold the Hoffritz.
