Old Gillette...what is it?

Guys, what is this gold toothed razor? It looks like a toothed Super Speed but I cannot seem to find it in the wiki. No date code and the blade bar has no hook.

I was gifted several razors from a friend who passed. This one I cannot figure out..but since it came loaded with a Feather that I had sent him it seems to have been one in his rotation.

These are the others (other then the old SE Gem I know what these are….I think). I only shave with three pieces....now I need to expand my horizons it seems.

Hunting around in the wiki now has me a bit confused on the mechanically similar but with bar nickel one...

From right to left in your picture: Super speed, Super Adjustable, Sheraton, ???. Foreground: Tech.

And honestly, all those razors give great shaves, so don't think you are missing out by not having more razors.

Thanks guys....less then 20 minutes and I got the works ID'ed.

I am pretty sure that old Gem will remain dry...but the others are destined for a cleanup and a trial over time.

The fellow who owned these was a good friend who I went back-and-forth with over the advantages/disadvantages of the mechanical razors. I have always been a fan of the three-piece--he a fan of silo doors. I wish he were still around to debate this burning issue....

I do feel obligated to try these in his memory.

Sorry for your loss. It's good you still have a connection to him and something to remind you of him hopefully every morning. It's tough to find someone who will engage in a serious debate on something many people perceive as trivial, like razors.
