Well, squats were a no-go because off an angry IT band (flares up occasionally) but I managed 5x5 presses and worked up to a heavy set of 5 deadlifts.
My wife has been keeping track of her steps for close to a year now. These Michigan winters stink, so I think we are going to start walking in the gymnasium at our church.Various stretches worked in with 3 cycles of 12 reps of various exercises; e.g., crunches, pushups, planks.

I'm blessed with some really good knees for a 60 year old, and the only way to help my lungs get better, or to slow the loss of function, is to extricate me arse from the Lazyboy.My usual Saturday routine: Total body HIT strength session using mostly Nautilus and Hoist equipment. 20 minute GXP climb on the treadmill.

also, depending on your inseam and stride length, there are about 2000 steps per mile for most folks.
