Old boy sends me a new friend

Brought him home last Thursday, which was a complete surprise to my daughters. It went how you’d expect. Lots of gasps and tears. Brutus has settled in quite nicely, however our rescue, Jett, is still unsure about the new kid. It’ll take time… it always does.

Brutus looks very at home. Just noticed your signature line (Behind every great man is a woman rolling her eyes). Thanks for my second good laugh of today. The first was a bumper sticker that said “do you follow Jesus this closely?”

Here he is. Already a year old since July. He’s chosen the girls as his “hoomans” and they have a very special bond. He’ll only wrestle with me however… or listen to me for that matter.

My male cat is like that. He treats me more I’m just the alpha, but he’ll occasionally let me give him some loving. My female cat, on the other hand, has been nicknamed (by my wife) as my side ho. She will run about 20 MPH to come get my attention.
