What's new

Okay, so for the last 3 months we have been buying soaps unsniffed.

Best: Dr. Jon's Savannah Sunrise. I hesitated to buy this initially but once I received it it quickly became my favorite scent. It's got a nice peach smell along with some floral smells. I usually don't go for floral but it really works here.

Worst: Eufros Tobacco. There isn't anything "wrong" with this scent, it's just not for me. It's a true, straight tobacco scent and I just can't see myself using this one much at all.

Three best, in order:
A&E Cannabliss Santal
SV 70th Anniversary
A&E Vacanza Romana

Not a total miss, but fell short my high expectations:
MDC FOUGÈRE

Happiest: Fine Platinum! (Cheated as I already had the AS). :a29:

Unhappy with none that I purchased recently.

Best: A 3 way tie between PAA Porthos (Aramis Clone), PAA Green Doppleganger (their clone of Paco Rabane) and PAA Sundown. Porthos is a dead ringer for Aramis cologne - very manly! Paco Rabane smells amazing and Sundown smells exactly like old school shaving cream - talc, powder, vanilla, spice.

Honorable mention goes to PAA Planet 9 if you like Neroli - bright orange blossom Neroli. Smells a lot like 4711.

I'm a huge fan of PAA.

Proraso Green a relatively good performer but not my favourite scent

I prefer colone scented soaps & creams such as Barrister and man seville, Razorock XXX and stirling piacenza

Best: Declaration Grooming Original

Started off as, 'this is nice' but the more I use it, the more and more I like it. It has replaced B&M Seville as my favorite scent/soap.

Worst: Really nothing I dislike. I am very conflicted on B&M Lavanille. I can't decide whether I like it or not. Which is really strange for me because in most cases I decide pretty quickly if a scent works for me or not. With Lavanille, I pretty much go from liking it one minute to being just ok about it the next.
