MdC is the one soap that I just can't seem to get right, but it is a very nice smelling soap

You won't be sorry with the QCS. Truly a fantastic soap. I wish stroppe shoppe had their special edition available in a fougere though. It edges out the QCS in performance very slightly.

I've been using the MdC fougere exclusively for about a month now. It took me a few shaves to dial it in (I was not loading enough...30 secs works for me now). I absolutely love the fougere scent and have not gotten bored of it at all. The performance is wonderful...slick and protective.

QCS is also a great choice. I have not tried any other fougeres....yet.
