Well, when you've been married 11+ years as I have, things like this are bound to happen. It's embarrassing and I'm quite ashamed to admit what happened. If you have small kids in the room, you may want to ask them to leave, or at least close their eyes.
So there I was, thinking I was being sneaky, discreet, secretive- whatever. I had confirmed my wife was good and asleep and was extra quiet as I exited the bed, very slowly and silently to ensure I don't disturb her. Once I was up, it appeared she was still good and asleep, the coast was clear. I saw this as an opportunity to do something that most men do on a regular basis, although, not everyone discusses it.
I felt the bathroom was the best place to have some "alone" time and certainly hope that I'm not disturbed, or "caught" for lack of a better word. I got all the necessities that are needed for my "alone" time. Still periodically checking to ensure my wife is still asleep, which she was. I was good to go for "Go Time".
With all the accessories necessary for "alone" time and a grand opportunity to,take advantage of the situation. I moved forward with my plan. I felt I could enjoy my "alone" time without interruption, which is imperative. So there I went....
I was getting down to business and thoroughly enjoying myself and enjoying extreme pleasure when the unthinkable happens...
MY WIFE WALKS IN AND CATCHES ME!!! She is appalled and can't understand why I'm doing what I'm doing.
It just so happens I had honed a few razors earlier and just had to try them out. Nevermind it's 2:00am. That doesn't matter. I had to give these bad boys a try. It couldn't wait. What were you thinking???
I just couldn't wait till morning. I've been very hard at work trying to improve my honing skills, and for me, it's working. I'm getting much better shaves and really great edges from my honing. I'm very happy with results.
I had added some stones and changed my progression and had to see how it panned out. Very pleased with results and progress. My wife was a bit irritated that I'm up at 2am shaving and waking her up, but she's fine.
Anyone else gotten "caught"??
