Moisturise your skin, it's counter intuitive but it generally works
You can make a toner by mixing witch hazel with a few drops of tea tree oil. Wipe down the skin with a cotton pad soaked with the toner. Tea tree oil is very strong, so you don't need a lot. In concentrated form, it can irritate the skin. It is also mildly antiseptic.
