What's new

Oh Boy, Have You Seen The New Pashana Packaging?

Evening gents. It is with a bit of apprehension that I post this thread. I was perusing the web and for some reason it stuck in my head to find the producers of Pashana hair products. Well, it seems they were sold to a Denman company and they have repackaged the products. Now before anyone jumps on the r********tion bandwagon, I am not saying that. I don't know that. The web site does not mention it. At all. I am a bit overwhelmed by the new packaging. Here it is;

It is a bit modern yes? I don't really like it but if they haven't messed with my Blue Orchid friction lotion then all will be well in hair tonic Valhalla. I sent them an email inquiry as to formula and packaging and we shall see what, if any answer comes forth. I will keep you posted.

Love their aftershave, haven't tried the tonic but have used the Osage Rub for the same effect. How would you say the Pashana tonic compares to the Osage?

Never heard of them, but good luck.

If you haven't tried the Afters Shave, you might want to find out who they are. You're missing out. It's one of my favorites.

Well, I have not used their aftershave but do have their "In The Mood" edc and like it a lot. It is a light, fresh, typical edc similar to 4711 or the like but much softer on the citrus and has an almost sweet(not like you're thinking)fresh note to it. Spring time pillow cases would be a good description. Though it is not the predominant scent.

I also have a number of their friction lotions or hair tonic if you prefer. They are very nice. No real hold but that is not what they are intended for. They soften the hair and help with a bit of dry scalp but mostly they smell divine. Especially the Blue Orchid. I prefer Pinaud's Eau de Quinine and Eau de Portugal but Blue Orchid, Original, and the Bay Rum are quite nice. The Blue Orchid is just what it describes. A floral scent that is not anywhere near as girlyman as you wold think. I love it. The bay rum is well, bay rum. The original is good but I caution you about the application amount. It is quite heady and Oriental and you can overdo it easily. It is also a scent that will last all day. I have used their brilliantine in the Blue Orchid scent which is the lotion with oil added. I can't use it with my blond hair because it just looks oily. The lotions have no oils and barely deepen the colour of your hair. Definitely worth checking into.
Here is a picture of what my bottle looks like.
