Ogallala Wiener Wash

I am just curious if anyone has used this on their pet? I want to get some for my dog (specifically a wiener dog) and was just curious how well it worked. He likes it when I use Bay Rum aftershave, since he tries to lick my hands when I pick him up in the morning. Match made in heaven? Probably.

I just worry about his skin, since certain shampoos dry him out.

Oh wait, you're talking about dogs...

I've used it. Orginally I purchased as a gag gift for my son-in-law. You should have seen his face when he opened it!! Worth the price if only for that!

While I was at it, I purchased two and kept one to use for our dog. It has been a while and I really don't remember well as dog shampoo performance is not something I really care that much about. Seemed to lather fine and I the dog's skin was not irritated. Scent does not last that long.

I've never tried this before but my dog will often ask for a splash of Lilac Vegetal.

Tried it and the dog loved it. Again, the scent doesn't linger too long, but it lathers great and lasts quite a while considering the small bottle. If you're already ordering from Ogallala, I'd pick some up. Otherwise, just wait until your next order.

I just bought some samples from Ogallala, and (thanks to this thread), I had to include a bottle of it in my order. I'll give it a try on my faithful old Bear (chow terrier mix) and see how she reacts. I like the scent of it, but it seems a little thick for such a heavy coated dog. I'll probably mix a little of it with some water and then use it diluted on her. If nothing else, it looks cool sitting next to my bottle of "Anti Monkey Butt Powder"
