OK all you Bay Rum fans, which is better, Ogallala Bay Rum with limes and peppercorns or SCS Bay Rum with a twist of lime? Or if that's not a fair question, then how do they compare? I just got a sample of the Ogallala stuff and love it. I'm just wondering how it compares to the SCS Bay Rum with a twist of Lime. I'm going to get one or the other.

I've never tried the SCS, but I can't get enough of the Ogallala Bay Rum. I have one of each AS and the Special Reserve Cologne.
Is the bay rum basically a splash? Does it have any moisturizing properties?
I also have never tried the SCS, but love the Ogallala products, and there are not many better people to deal with then John.
I have them both and it's basically 6 on one hand and a half a dozen on the other.
The Bay Rum w/ a Twist has a nice light lime scent while the Oga Bay Rum,Limes, and Peppercorns comes across more limey. They are both very, very good while being different interpretations.
For moisturizing purposes, I would send u in the direction of SCS due to a balm being available in Sue's line. I also would suggest getting the Oga also as it is very refreshing.
Some weeks, I just 'Lime Out' using Saint Sue's version, Oga version, and Mama Sue's version. Adding Rhoyall Lyme to the mix doesn't hurt either!
