I got a sample of the Ogallala Bay Rum with Limes and Peppercorns. I love the scent, but the product does not work well for me as an after shave. I'm wondering if I can use at as a cologne. I noticed on the label it has the word "cologne" as well as "after shave". I think the exact words are "after shave, cologne, and skin toner." Has anyone out there used this stuff only as a cologne? Does it have the staying power of a cologne? Thanks.

I love the scent but find it is pretty fleeting. I even have the Special Reserve double strength cologne and I don't think that lasts very long. Love the smell on all the Ogallala products, they just don't hang around very long.
Mine lasts most of the day. Try it and see how long it lasts for you.
I too love the Ogallala Bay Rums. The scent doesn't last on me though - strong at first but fades quickly. Usually when I come home after work, I'll slather another handful of the cologne version around my neck. It's a great little pick-me-up!

OK, for many it apparently doesn't quite make it as a cologne . . .But I love the bay rum with lime combo . . . so my question is this. There is a cologne from SCS that maybe has the best of both worlds Does the SCS cologne called Bay Rum with a Twist smell almost as good as the Ogallala Bay Rum with Limes?
The SCS juice smells great to me but it's nothing like Ogallala.
I have been using Ogalla for a week.
It lasts a 8+ hours for me.
My ladyfriend and daughters both have commented on what a refreshing fragrance it is (teenage daughters at that, who are loathe to admit Dad has done anything cool)
It is worth the price just to patronize and see the outstanding customer service you will receive.
