I have an off-the-shelf wool felt Scala and used steam to get a teardrop top. Works like a charm.

Same hat I did, too - actually, two tan Scalas fur felts ( two for one deal).

Don't know if there's already a thread but we need some hat pic postings.

There are a few different "hat" threads, and there are some pictures, but I don't think there is an organized "show me your hat" thread like there is a "show me your DE collection".

We do indeed. Planning to shave later tonight and think I'll wear my fedora while I do it.
For you folks who don't live alone, think twice before trying this. Digital cameras, internet, blackmail. Knowhati'msayin'?

Tried it once with poor results. Maybe not enough steam? Will try again.
