Lather: TOBS Sandalwood
Brush: Wilkinson sword classic
Razor: Böker Olivewood Shavette
Blade: Miraki (2)
Post-shave: Cold water, alum block and Fuar Ach Snog

I had forgotten about how good my Wilkinson sword brush is with hard soaps. Good shaves like this really help with learning to love what I already have.

First shave of the month was a rushed 2-pass SAS due to oversleeping. Used my Merkur 34C with a Perma-Sharp on run 5. Trader Joe's Honey Mango Cream hand-applied and finished with Proroso ASB. The combo worked great for a fast and worry free shave.

Brand new Gillette Silver Blue blade in the trusty red tip Super Speed; WildWest Brushworks 24mm Cashmere synthetic brush; Greek Noxzema Lather Cream (with a little unintentional Williams Mug Soap); CeraVe moisturizer, and Pinaud Clubman after shave to finish. The last time I used this cream (probably 18 months ago) it was dried out and difficult to squeeze out the tube. This morning I had to cut the tube open with a knife to get anything out of it. It's really like a soap now; I crumbled a few pieces out into my Williams Mug and then lathered it on the puck. It was never a really good cream; I bought it because of the Noxzema scent. Now I have to decide whether to chip the rest out of the tube and then attempt to rehydrate it in another container. But as I said, it was never all that good, so I may just bin it. It does smell good, however.
10 hours of restraint and counting.

Back in GRUME this month! I'm still waiting on a few bits and pieces to be delivered I got for my birthday (presents and spending some birthday money) but all purchases were made in September.

I've just received my first Tabac stick and it is a hefty, gorgeous container (as compared to the Arko and La Toja) containing the delicate scent of the Tabac soap.

I'm going to play along in the Tabactober and Soctober while using Feather Artist Club Kamisori to make things interesting for the month.

I can see some boars (at least 4) by the end of the month at some discounts (hopefully), that will be a good addition to the brush rotation especially when I've understood my requirements better, all due to being grounded with the help of GRUME and GRUYERE.

After a convo on here with someone, picked up a can of goo just for variety as I had used up my can actually a while ago and just never remembered to pick a replacement one up.

They also mentioned proraso in a can but I didn't see it at this particular store so Barbasol (which I have never tried) it is.

No shave today.

Just out of curiosity when you shave both, do you just lather everything, like head/forehead/face? Or just the targetted areas ie. top of head and face?
