Subjective, I know, but how is the blade life of the Feathers? For five fewer blades a pack, what are the Proguard blades getting you?

The Feather Proguard blades have safety cage around the shaving edge that helps to eliminate nicks. First picture.
The KAI Captain Titan Mild Pink it's similar. Second picture.
Both are super smooth shaving blades.

I have been using a Proguard in various Razors. Yesterday I used it in the Occams V2/No3 plate, on its 10th outing delivered a comfortable and very close Shave, and still more life in it. I am a Daily Shaver with a fairly tough beard and the Proguard is proving to be a good blade for me. I am getting my blades from Japan so cheaper than UK sources.
