OC King of the Ring

So the other day I went into my SD (small bathroom)
And I overheard some trash talking coming from inside my razor cabinet, turns out it was my open comb razors yelling out who's best and who's the favorite I don't like trash talk so I figured I would end it with a little competition .
So there's 20 , a few modern and the rest vintage Gillettes. I am going to do a single elimination head to head , shave-off . I will use the same soap and everyone will have two identical blades .
I will post the list tomorrow because I have to look up the dates on a few .
I started this morning with Karve C-plate vs Timeless SS .95
Both razors had fresh Med Prep blades
The soap I am going to use is Stirling "Clubman" in Honor of my late father-in-law Joe Campisi , it was His scent for sure ....well that and garlic
So who's going to be"King of the Ring ?

It always catches me off gaurd when razors are yelling at each other. I mistake the yelling for soaps 'cause soaps are slicker at it.
I definitely go for the Timeless 95 over the C plate Karve.

Great image, I much prefer open comb razors. That is the first time I have noticed that US Goodwill type is a short comb; I had always assumed it was a long comb like my English version. The English Goodwill or the Single Ring would be my favourites of the Gillettes I have tried.

I'm voting for the Timeless, OC 34-36 'Crat, or the Deluxe. A lot of nice razors in there, so no real losers.

This was not a fair fight at all
results are really nice ,But.........
one side was super smooth and very comfortable super close
The other side came out with a close shave but was not comfortable , I don't like much blade feel
and it was like night and day when comparing the two Razors

The missing Razor is The Gillette 1918 Old Type from the standard set (it was Camera shy )
The Timeless Razor has some of the most comfortable teeth ever made .... for My Face anyway
