O Melhor + Don Marco

I found a tube of O Melhor that gets little use (of Portuguese creams I prefer Top Secret and Lavanda over it) and, since I haven't superlathered in a while, thought, why not?

I put a small dollop on top of RazoRock Don Marco...and...WOW! It effortlessly created an amazing mass of slick, buttery lather. Gorgeous! It made me laugh out loud. And, interestingly, the light fragrances (fresh cologne and orange) played very well together. My wife loved it.

I'll do that again for sure. And it makes me wonder what other undiscovered combinations there are hiding in my bin.

Any other suggestions? I'm an old chemist...I love to experiment.

I just used O Melhor (translates as “The Best”) this morning, all on its own with no additives, and can’t complain about the lather. There is also a matching O Melhor aftershave available.

Lavanda is another regular shaving cream and Eau de Cologne in my rotation, but my clear favourites from Portugal are the Antiga Barbearia de Bairro shaving soaps, creams and fragrances.
