NYC recommendations

I hear Pastuer's on 34th and Park is quite a place! But my favorite is the b&b bst forum!
yezzir. going tomorrow. Pasteurs Pharmacy. I visit the one on 34th, between Park Ave and Madison I believe. great great selection. bring a list or prepare to spend an hr just oohing and ahing your first time. There's also a great pizza spot on 33rd st. just head west after pasteurs down 34th, make the first left and the next right down 33rd and you'll see it. before Papayas . awesome slices. 2 nyc style pizza slices and a soda for $5

Pasteur Pharmacy is the place to go in NYC. I went there this past Thursday and met the owner who was very helpful and kind. They have a huge selection of shaving products and at good prices. They also have sample bottles (Mostly Aftershaves) so you can try before you buy, which is great if your not familiar with the product. I've only been there 3 times but will make it a regular visit as I work only a subway trip away. I'll have to check out the Pizza place ricardo9505 suggested the next time I go.
I'm definitely gonna have to check out Pasteur's. I live in NYC but recently started wetshaving, so I'm glad I came across this thread. Sounds like a sweet place.
There is also The New York Shaving Company. Looks like it is only a few years old but they sell their own product and offer shaves and haircuts. I don't know more about it but it looks interesting, might be worth a look if you are near it.

Pastuer's is the place to go on East 34th, off Park Ave. Just came from there, and you name it, they've got it, at all different prices.(Only thing I didn't see was Green Irish Tweed).
Didn't really need anything, just wanted to see it for myself....but picked up a pack of Gillette Red Super Thins (Thai blades $1.79 for 5) & Astra's ($1.49 for 5) because I wanted to try them...if I hadn't just ordered Derby & Feathers online would have picked them up too. Will be going back there....a lot of things to choose from.
I'll be going to NYC in early December and plan to go to Pastuer's Pharmacy while my family is in Macy's.
