What sort of costume has put you off costumes?
Clowns. I don't do clowns. Ain't no good reason for me to trust no stinkin' clown. Ever.

She actually looks like a "mime" to me. Male mimes irritate me; I don't fear them. I'd be more inclined to punch a mime, but run from a clown.

I honestly had no idea what was coming. I'm assuming that is from a movie that would make me cry?
It is fine to wear traditional, even somewhat old-fashioned clothing. Just do not drift into costume!
