Not trying to beat a dead horse. But what about Tea Tree Oild as a strop conditioner

Could you use a few drops of Tea Tree Oil to condition a strop?

Also, if you live in a humid environment would it stand to reason that your leather strop would be less likely to dry out?

Use a tallow based soap lather and apply it to the strop. Set over night and wipe off the lather. It worked great for me and one less thing to buy.
