This thing is GORGEOUS. I'm in love! :001_tt1::001_tt1::001_tt1:

The knot is a 22m TGN 2-band finest set at 51mm. The handle is Tasmanian myrtle. When I was in Australia the first time for college we visited Tasmania. While there we visited a public market (one of the best I’ve seen, by the way), and I found a sweet little jewelry box for Cherith (my wife) made of Tasmanian myrtle. Beautiful wood. Rudy said he could get some, and so he did! It only lost one hair during its maiden shave. The PJ shape is superb, much easier to hold than any of the other shapes I've used.

Pay no attention to the awful lather...that was my first attempt with GFT coconut :blushing:.

Another job expertly done, Rudy! :thumbup1:

Great looking brush. You will love that knot, it is one of the best I have used and I have two bands from all the big names.

I think I'm in love with Tasmanian Myrtle:001_tt1:

It is a great wood, I have used it in pens for some time. I was lucky to find such a nice piece and it was dry from long storage in a dry warehouse - that means ready to turn right away.
