01. How did you find Badger and Blade and why did you become a member?
Probably like most members, I did an internet search on a better way to shave, having used a Gillette Trac II and canned goo for years. Came for the shaving and stayed for the sub forums.
02. When you did or if you are working, in general what did or do you do?
I've been an ICU nurse for 35 + years, hoping to retire with in the next year. I'm an Army Veteran and have been a reserve Deputy Sheriff.
03. What part of the country where you were born do you like the most?
I was born and raised in West Virginia, loved the outdoors in the mountains, but have lived in Louisiana for over 40 years.
04. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Possibly the northwestern US.
05. Do you have any hobbies or pastimes?
Love shooting and collecting firearms. NRA Life member, NRA Instructor, NRA Range Safety Officer. I'm most active in the Shooting forum.
06. Why did you choose the avatar that you have now?
My Avatar is Elmer Keith, real life cowboy, hunter, gun writer, "father of the .44 magnum", etc. I'm also (intermittently) active in the Brown Leaf forum, and his picture with the pipe and two pistols is perfect!
07. If you could choose any person in the world, now or from the past, who would you
like to sit down and have a drink with?
Probably Ben Franklin.
08. What is something you'd like to do, but have not had the opportunity to do it?
Travel the western US. Hope to do a bit of that after retirement.
09. What is one thing or accomplishment in your life that you are proud of?
Marrying my wonderful wife of 34 years and staying married without her kicking me to the curb!
10. What is one piece of advice that you would offer to people in general?
Live within your means, be kind to others, but stand up for your principals despite the cost.
11. If you could have any super hero power, what would you choose?
The compassion of Jesus Christ.
12. If you had to choose to be a kind of animal, what would you want to be?
An Eagle.
13. What kind of music do you like?
I have an eclectic taste, but if I had to pick one, probably jazz.
14. If you could be any movie character, who would you like to be?
Just about any John Wayne character.
15. If someone wrote a book about your life, what would the Title of that book be?
"Many Missed Opportunities, but Few Regrets"
