Non-Navy Pea Coats?

I know it's the end of the season for most stores, but I've been looking.

I have a Navy one that is the black hole for lint, pet hair, etc. Anything that is not supposed to be on a coat...ends up on mine.

I'm not looking to spend a ton of money...that might be my problem. Does anyone know where I could find a tan pea coat?

AND......any good remedies to my lint predicament. I use a lint roller and keep a clean car and house....I don't want anyone to think I'm a total slob.

I've been told that the use of those lint rollers that are made of some sort of sticky tape can cause a build up over time that results in your garment attracting more lint than normal. Maybe try a lint brush?

If that is true.....I'm gonig to be kicking myself. I have been thinking about getting a lint brush though just because I don't like the tape. Thanks!

I'll have to look for one the next time i'm in a store. I looked at WM...only rollers.

Tan might be tough to come by in a Pea Coat. I do not know your budget, but I know Banan republic has a touble breasted top coat, but it might fall under the ton of money category(as it does for me). Plus it goes to mid thigh instead of standard pea coat length.

I saw a few single breasted tan coats on Macys.com, but I don't think I have seen an innexpensive true peacoat in tan. I will keep my eyes out.

^thanks! I did see that one at BR. i'm only 5'5 so those that would typically fall mid thigh, tend to look too big for me. I say peacoat...I think I should have said wool coat.

In that case, you could consider a nice duffel coat. It does tend to be a thigh-length coat, however. I was a real sucker for these back in the day.

This is an 18oz. Italian wool from L.L. Bean. They're parsing their winter stock right now and are closing these out at less than $200 with free shipping. It also comes in navy. I have not seen nor felt this particular coat in person, just throwing a tan one up there per your search request. I think a tan pea coat will be tough to come by, although I have seen them before. More popular for women.

Check out Schott NYC's offerings. They make a whole host of colors, styles, and fits, and are manufactured in New York. They're a bit expensive, but worth it as the coat will last you decades if taken care of.

Thanks....I was actually looking at llbean coats. I like that one but not really needing one with a hood.
ill check out Schott NYC.

Yeah I can relate...I have a couple of Pea Coats and they attract cat hair like crazy. I've tried the lint rollers and brushes and they help somewhat. But for the best results I use the Bissel Pet Hair handheld vaccum. They're pretty cheap (around $25.00) and do a great job on furniture and carpets.

But one day I tried using it on one of my coats and was surprised how well it worked.
