Non-alchoholic cocktails?

I'm having a bit of a break from beer but just drinking regular fruit juice is getting a bit boring. Anyone got any good, quick and easy fruit juice cocktails to try? Thanks in advance.

12 oz Sprite

3 oz Rose's Lime Juice

juice of 1/2 lime

shaken or stirred

poured over a full glass of ice

Gives the appearance of a drink w/o the hangover.

Try mixing orange, grapefruit and pineapple juices together then adding grenadine for color and a little flavor.

That's the dry side of the hurricanes I make. At parties, I always mix a bowl of this for the kiddos and anyone who doesn't want to drink. Everyone seems to enjoy it.

sangrita is a great chaser for tequila, and tasty enough on its own
2 c tomato juice
1 c orange juice
2 oz lime juice
1-2 tsp tabasco sauce
1-2 tsp worcestershire sauce
2 tsp finely minced onion
several pinches white pepper
celery or seasoned salt to taste
blend well, strain, chill, enjoy

Any decent bar tending guide or web site should have a non-alcoholic section with plenty of punches and fancier drinks

Kiddie cocktail: 7up and grenadine with some maraschino cherries( I realize its not fruit juice. Sorry couldn't help myself :001_rolle).

If its my night as designated driver, I'll usually order tonic water with a lime wedge. Not sure if I'd just do that to sip on at home, but its a good way to shut people up at parties or bars when you aren't drinking.

Half cranberry half orange juice is kinda nice, not as sweet and thick as OJ and not as tart as cranberry.

I also like mixing soda water with any of the thicker fruit juices, nectars or blends.

Or you could go for the Arnold Palmer: 50/50 Iced Tea and Lemonade.

I used to drink something non-alcoholic that had Angostura bitters added in. It's not completely non-alcoholic because of the bitters, but you just use a shake or two. But for the life of me I cannot remember what the base was...

Club soda and lime works pretty darn good. It's a Drink! It's a Splash!

Moscow Mule without the vodka is pretty nice;
Ginger Beer to taste
1oz Lime Juice
A dash of Angustura Bitters
And optionally, 1oz of Simple Syrup if you have a sweet tooth.

What is Ginger Beer?

Proper ginger beer is simply nothing more than a soda. Naturally fermented (for carbonation only - no alcohol) fresh ginger juice and simple syrup.

Any fruit juice can be made into a soda in this fashion; just fill a bottle with juice (add simple syrup if additional sweetness is needed and a bit of lime/lemon for flavor), add 1/8 tsp champagne yeast (my favorite yeast for this) and set aside in a room-temp, dark place for 24 hours. Store in fridge to halt fermentation, and you've got homemade, natural soda.

Head down to Clyde Common (1014 SW Stark) for a dark and stormy (dark rum and ginger beer) for a taste.

The old Aussie favourite "Angostura, lemonade & lime" is great (lemonade with lime cordial and Angostura bitters).

PS: a cocktail is by definition "spirits of any kind, sugar, water, and bitters", so I'm afraid non-alcoholic cocktails are fictitious - just ask a unicorn if you don't believe me:lol:

If your looking for a drink that can be made a glass at a time, my mom used to take a tsp of lemon juice (or a lemon wedge) and a dash of sugar, cranberry juice and a splash of soda. She made it for us kids during cocktail parties and summer gatherings.

Try the Food Network or Fineliving Websites they have plenty I have about 20 differant punch and non booze party drinks in the collection of Cookbooks I have.
