Excellent shave with the sole exception of a little bit of irritation on my neck caused by my ambition to get an extra close shave on this very difficult and sensitive part of my beard. I didn't feel irritation during the shave because the blade is so sharp, but I definitely drew blood on my neck. The blood even surprised me a little. That's how sharp the blade is. The weeping blood stopped quickly, so no Mitch’s were harmed in the making of this shaving post.

My shave scoring log is found HERE.

Happy shaves everyone :badger:

Notes:

Timeless Tuesday today although I need to give my Techs some TLC as well. Maybe later this week. I had another splendid 2.5 pass shave today! I might be on to something here. Again almost no aftershave sting - barely. The blade/razor combination is su-er effective. Based on my stats it is actually the best performing blade in this razor. Next to the vintage Comet. Really liking this. My face feels extremely smooth. My neck is actually equally smooth in a nice way. Not BBS all the way on the neck, but plenty smooth to my liking. As long as my jaw line is smooth I am a happy camper. Floppy sloppy brush today and it worked like magic during today’s face lathering. Very enjoyable.

Wishing you an enjoyable shave today!

HWF #1 fragrance soap (new #4 is very nice too)
Omega boar
PermaSharp blade
Made in England heavy handle Tech
Could have skipped shaving this morning after yesterday’s fantastic 195 Adjustable/ Gillette yellow blade affair. Best so far in NOCvember.
Choose this razor as it was just a light clean up today. Got me back to proper smooth with a single ATG pass and the usual extra neck and jaw strokes. Like the weight of this razor and it’s one of my best Techs….seems to just shave so well .

Overall a very good shave with a BBS- result; still a bit of stubble can be felt on some areas of the neck. There's a bit of irritation there which came in right about the second pass, so I didn't push the envelope and called it a shave. I did have a weeper on the neck, my fault of course, but as soon as I looked up again in the mirror the bleeding stopped. The Feather blade may not work too well for me in the Yates EH - it's a bit too aggressive in that razor.

I'm going through some of my soap samples this month and there are a few artisan soaps I haven't tried yet. Some of them are so good that I might get full tubs at some point (MacDuff, Grooming Department Mallard, and Gentleman's Nod).

It wasn't my worst shave, but it could have been a bit more comfortable.
