No nonsense, daily ink

Best deal around in my opinion ... been using Thornton's Luxury since the start of the year and actually just recently restocked 2 more bottles. Not sure if it will work on your cheap copy paper but it fulfills my every writing need and I can trust it in my finest pens.

Sure is a bargain for a quality European ink. I've only used the blue.

I have no affiliation with this volume seller, just a satisfied customer.
thanks for this.
I have 2 blue, red and purple bottles wending their way to me now.

My favorite blue black is Pelikan 4001 Blue Black.

I had read that the ink from Cross Pens was re-bottled Pelikan ink. I don't know if that's a fact, but was very excited to see that Cross now had a Blue/Black ink, available in the states:

If it's the same as Pelikan Blue Black, that would be great, though I have no way of knowing. I suspect it's not. My understanding was that the Pelikan B/B was iron gall. The Cross ink, while water resistant, isn't permanent. That said, it's a decent ink, and the shade is the shade I expect when I think "Blue-Black" ink.
