Hi SirPaulGerman, welcome to B&B!

When you get a chance, please head over to our Hall of Fame (located within the Shave Clinic) and tell us all a bit more about yourself. If you ever have questions or run into problems, don't hesitate to post them up. We're a welcoming and friendly group here, and there's always someone around to offer advice or lend a hand.

To answer your question, have you considered ordering your blades via the internet? There are many outlets for them around, and the prices are usually very competitive.

Enjoy your time here, happy shaving, and once again, WELCOME!!

in the end , I went to the Dollar General website and I got 18 x 6 blades just for $27 , free shipping too and 5$ less with a code , anyway I hope those Dorco blades are any good , if not I may have to find another type of blade

http://www.dollargeneral.com/product/index.jsp?productId=11895922

quick question , the description "atra" will it fit trac too ?

These won't fit a trac 2 . I have several old twin blade packs from years ago, and the ones that say "fit Atra" don't have the tracks for trac 2 handles, but the pivot pickups for ATRA.

i did some research before I got it from Dollar General

"I gave the Dollar General Twin Blade cartridges a shot last month and found them to be quite nice in an Atra handle. They also fit Trac II handles. They are made by Dorco in Korea, with a six-pack priced at $1.29. Not bad"

can someone else confirm this ?

If you're looking for cartridges that fit the Trac II handle, please disregard my PM ... my Wilkinson Sword carts are Atra only.

The only Trac II compatible carts that I can get locally are the Personnas.

Where do you get yours? I get my "Trac" carts from Hema. These might very well be from Personna considering their DE blades are from Personna as well.
Kruidvat. But now that I think of it ... they may actually be Dorcos instead of Personnas.

IMO if you cant find an exact fit..try the Gillette Guard blade n razor..handle is $2..blades are $.25 a piece...also on ebay

They also sell them on Walmart.com. CVS also carries Trac II carts. You can also try Ebay. In NJ there are a billion Walmarts so if my local one doesn't have them, I can find them at one of the others.

Hello SPG,

Welcome to B&B.

I don't know where you are located but you can check Walmart store stock levels by city, zip code, etc. online:

Wilkinson Sword Twin II Plus Cartridges, 10 count

Hope this helps.

Thanks,
Mike

those are the one I got , any experience with those blades ? also will it fit a trac 2 , I know the personnas will because they fit trac and atra at the same time

Ok, thanks. I believe Kruidvat is quite a lot more expensive than Hema. You might want to check Hema out. I think I paid 3,10 for a pack of 10 recently.
Unfortunately, there is no clue on the package to the manufacturer or country of origin. I find them quite good but I have no other carts to compare them with.

The are for both slide-in and pivot handles.

SirPaul, Sorry for the thread hijack!
