A few weeks ago I posted that I had become bored with my current fragrances.
The ones I like, I still like, but others just don't thrill me like they used to.
There was one idea I was toying with.....
and so, to make a long story short (too late!) I purchased some samples of Oud.
Now I'm not professing my love for oud as of yet.
It's too early in the game. Today is my first wearing (a light one at that) of Jinkoh To Byakudan from Agar Aura.
I will say that I've never found a fragrance that has changed and morphed as much as this.
It started off smokey. Really smokey. But then it became kind of sweet. Now I'm picking up incense.
At one time earlier on I could have thought I was standing in the Jungle.
The wood notes were so resinous (is that a word?) it was scary.
The interesting thing is that it feels like this fragrance is alive. It's changing, but it never loses anything that it had.
More updates to follow.
