No guide pins on Razorock Gamechanger OC?

I prefer this way after getting used to it.

I just spread my palm > put the base plate on the fingers > put the blade > put the cap > the thumb presses the cap > install the handle between the fingers below.

The steps are not as many as the normal three-piece, just need to adapt.

Gillette goodwill is also set blade columns on the base plate.

I've never understood the complaints about this. It's no more difficult to load the blade than having the pins on the top cap to me.

That is exactly what I have been thinking on reading this thread, much ado about nothing. The title is even confusing because there are guide pins on this razor.
The advantage of having the pins on the baseplate is that you get equal blade reveal. The cap post should be a good fit as it has no effect on blade variations fitting.

The benefit of this pin arrangement is perfect blade alignment. Every time.

CG switched to this design to save money. Same as RR. Whether the pins are on the baseplate or top cap has no bearing on alignment.
