Everclear is not available in any state attached to me. What other consumable (non-rum) alcohol can I use in its place to clean my pipes?

I use cheap 151 vodka
I've used regular old Popov vodka and a couple of different whiskeys in the past. I suppose any of your basic bar stock would do the job.
Use whatever you want. Just try to use as high of proof as you can so you're inviting less water to the party. Some guys swear by whiskey. Others like Vodka since it doesn't tend to impart any flavor.

Dude, I live in Ohio too, and can buy it a Kroger here. Maybe your not looking in the right place.
