Nikon D90 outfit lens choices

Does Nikon or any stores even offer the D90 with the 18-55 and 55-200?

The closest I've seen is the 18-105 paired with the 55-200. Seems to be a waste in overlap to me.

Both good lenses, and are paired as a kit with Nikon's D40 as I recall. Check some of the online vendors. If not paired with a D90 in a kit, they are available separately.

Cameta Cameras (largest camera outfitter on the internet, based in new york) sold me a D90 w/ an 18-200mm.

I did my research and with bing cashback 8%, they were the cheapest people to buy from.

Definitely don't want the 18-200mm, but thank you for that heads-up. If anyone sees the D90 outfit with the 18-55 and 55-200 lenses, please let me know. Otherwise, I'm thinking of getting the D90 outfit with the 55-200 lens from B&H. Then buying the 35mm f1.8 DX lens and the Tokina 11-16mm lens.

You might want to look into Adorama. Bing cashback is 11% there right now. Circuitcity is now 10.3% and free shipping with no tax.

The tokina 11-16 is a fabulous lens. Dead on crisp. The 18-200 is very versatile and is a great walkaround piece but it's got some obvious limitations.

You might want to take a serious look at the DX 17-55 2.8 as well. A real beauty. Pricey but worth it.
