Nickel plating on old Gillette ball end techs with gold plating?

Hi,
Is it possible to make nickel plating on old Gillette ball end techs with worn gold plating? Thanks.

It is possible to either nickel, or gold plate, any old Gillete Tech, whether it was originally nickel or gold. (It is also possible to silver, chrome, or rhodium plate them as well.) The first part of the re-plating process is to strip the old finish off, so it really does not matter. I have had several old razors re-plated in both gold and nickel, and I highly recommend nickel plating above the others. Nickel is much cheaper, it is a hard, durable finish, and it has more lustre than the others.
