nice green tea as a gift

A friend of mine is ill and I would like to get him a nice tea as a gift. He prefers green. I am not a fan and know nothing about it.

You can get him a basil lemon tea non crushed with a tea infuser. Its kinda classy to brew your own tea in a way or like maybe a loose tea. If you wanna get an elegant non work try hojicha maybe or pique tea. honestly in my recommendation hojicha tastes better but pique tea has its own taste

Loose tea is an excellent recommendation. I don't think I could go back to tea bags from a store.

I don't know if you are still looking for a green tea, but here is one that I am currently enjoying:

Schuil Coffee - Fiji Green Tea

I use this Brew Basket to steep the tea if I am using a mug with a regular mouth/opening. If I am using a mug with a huge opening, I use this universal tea infuser which has metal wings to attach to the sides of the mug.

Gyokuro (on the same page) is a lovely, expensive green tea if you'd find that better.

I've enjoyed the sencha fuka-midori from Den's Tea. Macha is the best quality but sencha is almost as good and much more affordable. If your friend likes green tea, he will love this. Den's also has macha too, of course, if you want to really impress him. Beware of eBay and Amazon, lots of garbage there.
