I started my first two passes with a "super lather" (started with Soap and remembered all-Cade starting Nov 1 so threw in cream). I super-lathered a mystery soap with my C&E Nomad shaving cream.
Two nice passes in Aristo with feather. Had some clean-up after the rinse, but had already rinsed my bowl and brush.
The only non-brush cream I have is Burt's Bees. I threw some on the palms, "greased up" the face with it and did an almost complete ATG and above-lip XTG pass with a "film" of Burt's Bees on the face.
Excellent finish. It does a wonderful job for a brushless cream. Nice BBS with no irritation. It is my new travel cream I think.
Honestly, give it a try for travel or for a switch-up at home. I also imagine it mixes well with other creams. While I said "greased up" earlier, the feel after and during the shave was not greasy at all. It was very pleasant. Interesting and likeable smell, too.
