Next Blade in sampler

Ive been slowly working my way through a blade sampler the last month. I tried 4 derbys, 3 lord platinums, and 5 astras. What should I try next? My options are feather, gillette 7o'clock yellows, Wilkonson sword, or personna platinum. My favorite blade so far has been the astra. They give me a close but comfortable shave every time. I have not been able to get a bbs or dfs from them though. I'm sure there are still some technique issues as well but I would like to find a blade that makes it easier to get a closer shave. You're advice and wisdom is greatly appreciated!

Those are all good blades for me. I'm more of a fan of the Personnas and Gillettes.

I think personnas are must try & they 're pretty close to astras.

All those blades are good blades. Any of them is a potential "winner". However, what you want to conclude is if Astras are sharp enough or smooth enough for you. Only those very simple things can narrow a bit the search for you, but is not a general rule. And by this I mean that you could state that you want a sharper blade then Astras, but you could find a less sharp one that is more effective. My only advice can be to try as many of the popular brands as you can, find your favorite, and every now and then keep trying the not so popular ones, or the new in the market ones. You never know what you find.
