Inspiration from the “Gather up some razors....” thread was the motivation here to do the same with some strops.
The new Tony Miller “Heavy Draw” has become the runaway favorite of the lot. Great job Mr. Miller!

He makes some amazing strops.

The one I have (only one from him) is my favorite also.

Thanks for showing yours.

Glad you like the "Rough Out". Sort of a more tame version of an Illinois #827, one of the first strops I owned before I started making my own.

Hi Tony,
I just forwarded one of your strops to a member in Bulgaria. I must say, it was a beauty.

Acmemfg Glad you like the Rough Out version. I liked the Illinois 827 but they can vary a lot in texture so used the reverse leather idea but in a more tame surface and not as hard a temper.

I have been using a very budget strop while learning. Just received a Plain Vanilla 3" from Tony Miller. It is an order of magnitude higher quality and for not a lot of money.
