I stopped into the local shop for a few ounces of bulk tobacco, and spotted a tray of pipes in one of the cabinets, the label showing them in my price range, so of course, I had to look. Then of course, I had to buy. Oops? Oh well, I loved the shape and shade, and the price, so it had to come home with me. lol

I fell in love the Rhodie shape when a pic of a peterson rhodie was posted in a diff thread here. This one is made by Father and Son, turns out it's a family of high end pipe carvers that wanted to make a quality affordable line. Picked it up for $35. Smokes great for sure. Never got hot, stayed dry the whole time, right to the bottom of the bowl. Feels great in the hand as well. I just might check into a few of the other styles they had in that tray from that same maker.
