Looking forward to l;earning from you all about how to get sarted with the Strainght razor. No question yet, as I have yet to do the full pre-req reading of old posts, so I don't waste everyones time on old , answered questions. but Will be looking for my FIRST straight soon, and want something that will be of a quality that I can hand it down to my son some day 
Although I have just recently started this journey (been a cheal cartridge guy most of my life), I bought a new Merkur DE Safety, but am really looking forward to retrieving my dad's old safety razors from my mom. Not sure what they are worth to the market, but they ar worth a LOT to me, and I am sure when My son is MY age, he will feel the same about not only Grandpa's old safty razors, but crazy dad's straight razor
