Newbie to straight razor shaving

I've been using a safety razor for a while now, and took the leap into straights about a month ago. I generally shave every other day to keep my stubble down. Today was my ninth shave so far this month with a vintage graves straight that I bought on the BST section of the forum. Today I cut my right cheek near the edge of my lip, however I ended up with a nice smooth face in the end, so I think I'm starting to get the hang of this whole straight razor thing. I just wanted to say thanks to all on the forum who's posts and threads have helped me get started with classic wet shaving, I could not be more happy about my new hobby. Now if I can just contain my RAD, and my budget then I'll be golden.

Very nice! Congratulations, and good luck in your straight shaving journey.
My RAD is so far limited to DE-related expenditures, but I foresee straights at some point in the future...:biggrin1:
