Newbie to de head shaving

What would be the best de razor for a starter to use for head shaving.

Slant. You want it to cut but not be terribly abrasive.

The thread mentioned above should help you along. I found that most DE's work although some better then others. The Merkur slant does a good job also. My preferred DE for head shaving is the Weber but most of the time I use a straight or Feather DX for the job these days.

I meant the 37c, I'd imagine a longer handle would work against you, but I guess it's a matter of technique.

SE razors are also good for headshaves, I've tried pushbutton, 1912 and Bullet Tip Micromatic.

I was told slant is too dangerous for first timers, is this true?
