Welcome Staggers! I'm a big proponent of mapping your beard grain. Takes a little doing, but when I started I fussed over and over with trying to find the right approach, the right angle, all of it. Once I could tell which direction the grain was going my shaves immediately improved. It's not everyones cup of tea, but it sure helped me.
