Greetings!
I discovered this site a few days ago doing some research into using safety razors! After years of using multi-blade cartridge razors, I finally wised up and decided it's time to make this sensible switch. I have been using shaving soaps/creams and brush for quite a few years, however. So, now I'm ready to take the next step. Fortunately, this site has great information for a newbie on selecting and using a DE razor. Thanks!

Welcome to the website, I came from a similar background using sticks of Palmolive and a brush, but usually canned goop. Take your time when you get your DE as there still is a big learning step! expect a 1 month gap between getting terrible shaves and good shaves. Enjoy the community and don't forget to get a blade sampler pack somewhere
