I have been using the Gillette SS and the Knack for 2 weeks now along with my Tweezerman badger brush and various soaps/creams.
I realize that I am on the right track.
The lather does make a difference.
I prefer Shark blades, have not gotten to the Feather or Derby blades yet.
I will be careful of the feathers, My father was a physician (until he passed away) and he always used feather scalpels. I know they should be sharp.
I have added a '54 Golden Gillette Tech to my stash (thanks Slantman)
I am waiting for my new Amboyna Burl Handle for my other Gillette Tech from CoonCatBob @ bobsrazorworks (https://sites.google.com/site/bobsrazorworks/about-us-1)
I also picked up 2 DE Razor/ 2 Brush holder from cutting edge razors.
