Newbie becoming experienced (somewhat)

Hello Gents! I am about a month into wet shaving and loving it completely. Right now my setup is a Tweezerman badger brush, Paker 99r DE, Astra blades, Prosaro after shave and TOBS Sandalwood cream. I want to step up my wet shaving "game" a bit. Any suggestions? :001_rolle

If you want any tips on technique many members here can offer advice. Alternatively on YouTube, search for geofatboy, all his shaving videos have great advice and IMO videos have helped me more than words.

If it's gear your'e after, prepare your wallet, it's going to be an ugly ride :wink2:

Hi Viper, welcome to B&B!

Yes, plenty of suggestions for you: read the PM that I sent you for them, and see you in the Shave Clinic!

IMHO the logical thing is to get a strop and a straight and shave like a real man. Once you get the basics nailed you will never look back.

Try a bigger brush. For cheap maybe a best badger from Larry at www.whippeddog.com. Go for at least a 26mm. A week in, you will probably laugh at poor little Tweezy.

The only other suggestion is to try other blades. I thought they didn't matter what they where in. Boy was I wrong...
