New with a feather

This is really a great combination. If you have a New and have not tried a Feather blade you are in for a treat. Very smooth and close even on day 1.
The only other razor that can compare is my iKon Tech. The New is a wonderful razor and sorry Gillette stopped production. I don't think anybody can duplicate this razor today for a reasonable price.

Aye, I love the NEW, I just won 2 long combs on ebay, gonna have them replated

I have some feathers on the way and a 1911 I may try this with. Those feathers still scare/entice me with all the sharpness they seem to possess.
Cant wait to try em tho.

I'm currently trying out the feathers but I don't think they are for me I got a fabulous shave with the Gillette 7 O clock green (super stainless) maybe it's my technique I just got lucky with them

the NEW long tooth open comb is indeed a great razor, it is my got to razor if I have a 3+ days growth of weeds on my face... you're right they couldn't make this razor today for the same price to the same quality and solid metal finish, sigh.... what has become of engineering...
