Just recieved my razor in the mail today.This razor is a beauty.For a stainless steel razor for 75$ shipped it is a bargain.The razor seems to be very well constructed,plus I love the fact that it has what appears to be the same head as the HD, and the HD is one of my favorite razors. I allready shaved but I will shave with this razor tomorrow or sunday and post another review about the shave.If this razor shaves as good as it looks and they can come out with a slant I will not need to buy any more razors.LOL. Who am I kidding.

I could actually live with the Weber as my only razor, mine is a DLC version, don't know if there is a difference but it's my best shaver, followed closely by the new Feather and the tradere SB. Enjoy your SS Weber!

Congratulations in receiving your Weber razor. My Weber Arc finish is my favorite razor. I just recently received their polished head version.
My Weber polished w/ Bulldog handle is the perfect razor so far and I've tried 30 other different modern and vintage razors. The handle is the perfect length. The knurling is deep and allows for an easy grip even when soapy wet. The head gives the perfect balance between mild and aggressive. The stainless steel construction is rugged and the polished finish looks great. Throw in the fact that this stainless steel razor is half the price of its competitors and you've got a winner!
I also have the DLC head with classic handle as well. That razor works great too. I've almost decided to sell all my other razors and keep the Webers plus a Tech for when I want a milder shave and R41 for when I want an aggressive shave.

I used mostly vintage razors until I picked up my Weber Bulldog ARC last year. It rapidly became my favorite, and I reach for it much more often than anything else. For me, it yields the ideal combination of closeness and comfort.

I agree with the OP, it is virtually the same head as the HD but imo it is significantly better constructed. I actually had bought a Merkur 1904 to use the Merkur head w/ the Weber handle (to compare them, as I really love my 34C but like the Weber handle more) and the construction was so subpar compared to the Weber that I immediately traded it off before using it. I believe that the Weber is a near perfect design. Good choice!
I definitely agree, the Weber is my favorite thus far, so smooth and efficient. It also doesn't hurt that it costs half of what other stainless razors cost. I won't ever give mine up.
