All of my 6 brushes are smaller knot brushes, they range from my travel 19mm, up to 21mm and 22mm ones. I just purchased the Vulfix 2235 from Classic Shaving, and that of course is a 24mm brush.
I've just started straight shaving, and I thought having the larger knot would enable me to mix a better lather. Well the first time I used the 2235 I was amazed at the lather. Doing nothing different from my usual lather routine, my scuttle just filled with rich creamy lather using this brush. I got it in super badger and I do find it much more floppy than my other brushes, but man does that thing turn out the lather. I have large hands, but I have always liked the smaller knot brushes, they just felt better in my hands.
This larger brush is something though, I'm really going to enjoy using it. Any other members have a similar experience?
Regards,
Paul
