new toy

well....i got a little tired of waiting for my mom-in-law to make me a scuttle, so i picked this one up. the only difference is that this one is a one piece and the one my mom-in-law is making is a two piece. but, for $20 + s\h i couldn't pass it up.

It's not clear from the pics(which are great for cell phone pics btw) but can you fill it with water? If not then its just a pot with lines on it? As for the pattern, it's not for me I'm afraid but horses for courses pip pip.

Look closer at the first photo, and you can clearly see the filling spout underneath the 7" mark of the ruler.

I have one of his large, quite large scuttles. Works just fine. He is now making a medium that is a bit smaller and may be even better. He is a pleasure to deal with and the B&B reviews of his scuttles have been quite good:
