This is an awesome forum! Until recently, my only DE experience was decades ago when I peeled a 1 inch square of flesh off my face with an old Gillette razor. Tried again and had a much better experience.

Perhaps you would want to try a milder and more forgiving razor than the vintage Gillettes, something you would feel more comfortable with at this point in your wet shaving journey. What razor was it that you've tried recently?
