New TM Horsehide

I thought a few of you might like to see some pics of a new TM horsehide strop. It has the cotton second component. Old shool excellent craftsmanship all the way around. I also ordered a travel...er... I mean... practice strop. Many thanks Mr. Miller for doing what you do and doing it so well.

GAH!

That looks tasty!

Easy, boy, easy......put down that credit card.......thaaat's right, nice and easy....back away from the Well Shaved Gentleman website and no one has to get hurt....

I just stropped up a Dovo. The cotton/horsehide is excellent. The cotton has a solid and light draw. The cotton really licks the edge. The horsehide draw is distinct, silky but stout. I think this strop will breakin beautifully with hand rubbing only. I don't plan on putting anything on either the cotton or the horsehide. I pulled a couple boars hairs out of an old brush and split them very cleanly. The pic shows the good news. I think this Dovo is very happy with Mr. Miller:001_rolle

Old style modern Dovo and a quality strop.

Looks to me like a great daily shave and both products look to be worth every penny.

sweet, I have never wanted something so much in my life:blink:

Tell me about it. I went to Tony's site and checked out the 3" Horsehide strops, but they aren't available for a few weeks. Ah well, the wait will be worth it. Builds character, right?

Speaking of horse butts…
Thank you guys!

I do want to note though the one pictured is a little different in size than what I have right now. The pictured strop is the large 2 1/2" x 24" Master Barber model while what I am currently offering are the smaller 2" x 21" Companion versions (as they would be good for travel). Same design, construction, leather, and linen but a bit softer cotton.

If you ordered today thinking you were getting the large strop instead just let me know and I will refund you.

Thanks,
Tony

I have just bought a beautiful strop from our own NEIL Miller here in the UK. Surely I can't justify buying a Tony Miller also......can I.......
